3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 110 is a universal, fast-curing, flexible two-component epoxy adhesive. This medium-viscosity adhesive cures to processing strength in 20 minutes and offers flexible adhesion to materials such as metals, ceramics, woods and many plastics.
Strong and flexible adhesion 3M Scotch-Weld Epoxy Adhesive 110 is a versatile two-component epoxy adhesive with a 1:1 mixing ratio designed to cure quickly and provide flexible adhesion. This epoxy adhesive works on a variety of substrates including metals, ceramics and glass, wood and many plastics. Releases with minimal dripping and bleeding, and with controlled, precise dispensing. This adhesive has high shear strength and good peel and impact performance which, combined with good flexibility, make it ideal for applications with dissimilar surfaces, e.g. in transport, special vehicles, general industrial applications, sporting goods, construction and consumer goods industries. Recommended applications Bonding and joining Gluing and fixing Assembling and sealing Encapsulating and moulding Cures quickly to minimise delays This adhesive has a mixing ratio of 1:1 and a processing time of 10 minutes, allowing a certain amount of repositioning and adjustment before the adhesive hardens. The adhesive reaches processing strength within about 20 minutes and is fully cured within 48 hours at room temperature. This product is available in bulk or in smaller Duo-Pak cartridges. What are epoxy adhesives? Epoxy adhesives are part of the adhesive class called 'Structural Adhesives', which also includes polyurethane, acrylate, cyanoacrylate and other adhesives. Epoxy adhesives start as liquid reactive polymers that enter into a chemical reaction when mixed and verrsequently harden into a solid material. Once the two components are mixed in the specified ratio, the curing process begins where you have a limited processing time in which to apply the adhesive and move the two surfaces into the desired position. This processing time varies from a few minutes to 48 hours or more. Depending on the specific formulation, this class of construction adhesives can offer very high shear and peel strength and better resistance to heat and chemicals than other commonly used adhesives. Epoxy adhesives are widely used in a variety of industrial applications in
